Job summary

The Oaks CE Learning Federation is looking to recruit a motivated Cover Supervisor to join Netley Marsh CE Infant School. The successful candidate will cover teaching and learning in the absence of class teachers, supervise classes, and help maintain a positive and focused learning environment for the children.

We will mentor and support you to ensure teaching and learning are of the highest standard. The role may require working at other nearby federation schools as needed.

Qualifications

• Supervise whole classes using teacher-provided material.
• Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes and engage pupils in learning activities.
• Establish productive relationships with pupils and model positive behaviour.
• Assist inclusion and support learning opportunities for all children.
• Provide feedback to teachers on the conduct of lessons and pupil engagement.
• Attend meetings and participate in training and professional development.
