Qualifications

• Previous UK experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
• Experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, HLTA, Youth Worker or similar.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence to establish clear boundaries with a calm, positive approach to behaviour management.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and deliver pre-set work; understanding SEND and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across the school during teacher absences and deliver pre-set work.
• Build positive relationships with students and maintain high behavioural expectations.
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage participation.
• Support break and lunchtime supervision and contribute to a safe school environment.
