Job summary

Reeson Education is supporting a large mixed secondary school in Oxted, Surrey, recruiting a Cover Supervisor from September 2026 to join their welcoming team.

You will manage groups of around 30 students, deliver lessons with minimal preparation, maintain a positive climate for learning, promote the school's behaviour policies, and contribute to SEN support plans as required. This role offers ongoing staff development and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or be an aspiring teacher
• Knowledge of autism
• Experience managing distressed behaviours
• Calm under pressure and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for registration
• Deliver lessons with high standard with limited prep time
• Maintain a positive climate for learning and enforce school policies
• Support students' self-esteem through positive interactions
• Assist with SEN support plans and related activities
