Job summary

Study Group at Kingston University London International Study Centre seeks a dedicated tutor to teach across Computer Science modules. You will design, develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials for Foundation level (RQF 3) and support an outstanding student experience.

You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure programmes align with teaching, learning and assessment strategies, and provide academic support while implementing innovative teaching practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • Master’s in CS/Software Eng/Cybersecurity desirable.
  • Teaching qualification or significant experience working with students.
  • Experience writing comprehensive modules at level 3.
  • Experience teaching CS in the UK HE sector or relevant industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design, delivery and development of modules offered by the Kingston University London International Study Centre.
  • Prepare and deliver teaching lessons, including seminars and tutorials.
  • Write and prepare unit examinations and other assessments; mark and provide feedback.
  • Develop and update course material for modules and VLE; support welfare and progression of students.
  • Act as a Personal Tutor and participate in programme governance and quality assurance.
