Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities.
• Manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently.
• Build professional relationships with pupils.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged with their work.
• Support pupils with their learning where appropriate.
• Maintain a calm, safe and productive classroom environment.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Liaise with teaching and support staff.
• Provide feedback to teachers following lessons.
