Huntress is partnering with a well-established business in Redhill to recruit a proactive and target-driven Credit Controller for a 12-month fixed term contract. In this busy finance team you will manage your own ledger, drive cash collection and resolve queries to help the company hit its monthly targets.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years' experience in credit control.
• Experience in high-volume, B2B environment.
• Track record of collecting debt and meeting targets.
• Strong Excel skills and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a ledger of B2B customer accounts.
• Proactively chasing outstanding debt via telephone.
• Working towards cash collection targets and reducing aged debt, with a focus on 90+ day balances.
• Investigating and resolving customer queries promptly to ensure service levels and SLAs are maintained.
• Reviewing and assessing customer credit limits when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all daily credit control processes are completed efficiently.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prioritising workloads effectively to maximise collections and meet deadlines.
