Job summary

NSL is seeking a DVLA Enforcement Officer to join a frontline team providing outsourced services for parking and street management. You will liaise with the public, advise on clamping and fines, and work alongside Police, DVLA and VOSA as required to enforce regulations.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, good communication, and the ability to work shifts. Full uniform and training are provided as part of a comprehensive benefits scheme.

Responsibilities

• Liaises with the public and advises on clamping and fines.
• Advises on payment methods and enforcement action taken on vehicles.
• Works with agencies including Police, DVLA and VOSA as required.
• Handles public enquiries and ensures information packs are available.
• Ensures vehicles and enforcement equipment are serviced and fit for purpose; reports faults.
• Completes daily activity reports.

Our Enforcement Officers play a big part by enforcing and clamping untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA. What does a DVLA Enforcement Officer Do?

• Liaises with members of the public and give advice regarding clamping and fines.
• Advises the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.
• Work alongside other agencies when required including Police DVLA and VOSA.
• Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
• Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment is serviced and fit for purpose reporting faults to the Manager.
• Completes daily reports regarding activities
