Job summary

LA International is seeking a Windows Operations Engineer to manage and optimise an enterprise Windows domain. The role covers user provisioning, patching, incident management and certificate rotations, with emphasis on security and reliability in a DV-cleared environment.

Based in Farnborough on-site, the contractor will contribute to project work and produce documentation, while ensuring timely ticket handling and platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktop and server administration including Active Directory, Hyper-V and MECM/WSUS.
• Experience in support desk operations.
• Enterprise Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Handle ticket-based incident management and service requests.
• Perform administration, including user/group provisioning, terminal installation/rebuilds, OS and application patching, and certificate rotations.
• Maintain, secure, debug, and improve the operations infrastructure.
• Deliver project-based platform improvements and perform administration in line with user-base priorities.
• Produce and maintain operational documentation and share knowledge regarding processes and the Windows domain.
