Job summary

Searchability NS&D in Farnborough is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with active MoD DV clearance to maintain and secure multi-classification virtualised environments across public, private, and hybrid clouds on-site.

The role requires strong experience with Windows Server, VMware, Linux, and PowerShell, plus Kubernetes, Terraform and security tooling. The position offers on-site employment with a competitive package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active MoD DV security clearance required.
• Full-time on client site in Farnborough.
• Windows Server 2016+ administration.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, secure and enhance multi-classification virtualised environments across public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Monitor systems and manage incidents to ensure high availability and performance.
• Conduct controlled maintenance, patching and hardening to maintain security and compliance.
• Share knowledge and support continuous skills development within the team.
