Job summary

LA International is seeking a Windows Operations Engineer to manage and optimise an operations platform and Windows domain environment, including patching, provisioning and incident handling.

The role focuses on day-to-day support, security, and performance improvements, with a requirement for Developed Vetting clearance. On-site location in Farnborough is expected, with potential for extensive security processes prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktop and server administration (Active Directory, Hyper-V and MECM/WSUS).
• Experience in support desk operations.
• Enterprise Linux administration.

Windows Operations Engineer - DV Cleared (Contract)

Role Description

We are seeking a Windows Operations Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimise an operations platform and Windows domain environment. This role will handle day-to-day support and administrative operations, including user/group provisioning, incident management, OS and application patching, certificate rotations, and terminal installation and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will contribute to project-based initiatives that enhance the platform's usability, reliability and security.

• Maintain, secure, debug, and improve the operations infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications (MQs)

• Experience with Windows desktop and server administration (including Active Directory, Hyper-V and MECM/WSUS)

Must hold security clearance to the Developed Vetting (DV) level

Location: Farnborough (on-site)
