Job summary

FryerMiles is recruiting a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to deliver secure DevOps for a UK Defence programme. The role is a rolling 6-month contract on-site in Hampshire, with a daily rate of £550-£650.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform, automate with Ansible, and advise on secure engineering practices within Agile teams. DV clearance is required to operate on this sensitive programme.

Qualifications

• Proven DevSecOps experience in a complex environment.
• CI/CD pipelines experience, ideally Azure DevOps.
• Terraform and Ansible expertise.
• Git version control.
• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Secure software development and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop automation and configuration scripts using Ansible.
• Support the implementation and assurance of DevSecOps tooling and processes.
• Advise engineering teams on DevSecOps tooling, automation and secure engineering best practices.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support technical delivery, risks and dependencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design decisions.
