Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council's Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre is seeking a part-time role, two days a week, on a variable rota. Normal opening days include Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with some evenings and weekends required.

The role requires PVG Scheme membership or update, a reference from your current or most recent employer, and, where applicable, an overseas criminal record check. You will contribute to delivering a quality service and supporting the team through flexible,

Come and join our wonderful team at Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre. This post is for a two day per week contract, on a variable rota. Our normal opening days are Monday Tuesday, Friday Saturday and Sunday so there is a requirement for some evening and weekend working. Exact working days and times will be dependant on the service requirements. Additional hours may be available for private bookings and holiday shifts.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
