Job summary

Crerar Hotels is seeking a Duty Manager to be the visible on‑the‑floor leader across our stunning Scottish hotels and Lake District property. You will welcome guests, oversee daily operations, support department leaders, and ensure service standards are met while handling guest concerns and emergencies.

You will coordinate guest requests, assist with accommodation options when needed, manage venue set‑ups and promotions, and help train teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage guest needs.

You’ll also lead in emergencies, conduct venue walk‑rounds for security and presentation, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts. Additionally, you will manage guest requests, assist with alternative accommodation if needed, and oversee venue set‑ups, maintenance issues, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
