Job summary

BH Live is recruiting a Duty Manager to join our busy team at BH Live Active – The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex in Southampton. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations on duty, ensuring safety, coordinating staffing, and opening/closing the building, with on-call duties for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Confident and proactive with strong communication.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent people skills and customer-focused approach.
• Commercial acumen and on-site decision making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each department has the appropriate level of staffing and coordinate reactive shift cover.
• Coordinate safe evacuation of members of the public and colleagues in emergencies.
• Open and close the building.
• Carry out visual building inspections and report issues to our technical team.
