Job summary

Blakemore Trade Partners is seeking a Duty Manager for the SPAR store in Amlwch. The role offers £13.75 per hour with a bonus opportunity, requiring a minimum of 16 hours per week across various shifts from 7am to 11pm.

You will report to the Store Manager and help drive store sales, service quality and community engagement. Ideal candidates bring previous leadership experience in retail, a strong customer focus, and the ability to motivate a team.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisor experience in retail or fast-paced operation.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service standards.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively.
• Able to communicate and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to ensure safe, legal and high performing store during Duty Manager shifts.
• Deliver store operations, objectives and KPI’s.
• Coach and develop colleagues to build a motivated team.
• Carry out performance and absence management as appropriate.
• Occasional opening/closing of the store and stock accuracy responsibilities.
• Lead by example to provide an exceptional customer experience.
