Job summary

Premier Inn Uttoxeter is looking for a Duty Manager to help lead the hotel during your shift, guiding guests and your team to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, provide clear pre-shift briefings, coach staff, handle guest questions and resolve issues quickly.

This permanent role offers 32 guaranteed hours per week, up to £13.86 per hour, full training and a clear path to a Hotel Manager role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments.
• Ability to coordinate across reception, housekeeping and restaurant.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members and support guests throughout the day.
• Help guests with queries and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams.
• Identify issues early and take corrective action.
• Contribute to guest safety and smooth hotel operations.
• Work with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
