Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting for a Duty Manager at the Glastonbury Premier Inn, Morland Road, Glastonbury. The role is 37.5 hours per week, permanent with guaranteed hours, and pays up to £13.86 per hour. You will lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be on the floor, solving problems, coaching the team, and helping guests. A path toward Hotel Manager is highlighted as a future possibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy, guest-facing environments.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
