Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the centre team in Maidstone. You will manage day-to-day operations, organise staff activities, and ensure an excellent customer experience across our facilities. The role offers autonomy, career development, and a chance to impact local communities through leisure.

You'll be part of a supportive management team with training provided, and a benefits package including pension and staff discounts. 40 hours per week, rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience in a Duty Management or similar role.
• Experience in problem solving, customer service and staff management.
• Ability to work flexibly with autonomy and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage, develop and motivate a team of operational staff.
• Oversee day-to-day duty management and run the centre to high standards.
• Contribute to business and budget performance of the centre.
• Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team.
• Show passion for the industry with continuous professional development.
