McCarthy & Stone Ltd is recruiting a Care Supervisor for the Stiperstones Court estate in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. You will oversee the Care and Support team, ensuring residents live independently and safely while coordinating activities and promoting a warm, resident-focused environment.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Hours:33.5hoursper week,witha mixture ofday and evening shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Pay: £15.24per hour for day shifts, £12.24forsleepingnight shifts, plus an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.

Role Highlights:
As a Care Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively and you will uphold our commitment to high-quality care. You will support the management of a thriving community of independent older adults, including overseeing the Care and Support team. Your role will include ensuring their safety, coordinating activities, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

About You

You are warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and preferably a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. (Those with L2 are welcome to apply but will need toundertaketheir L3.)

You are eager to take on responsibilities, promote community spirit, and improve the wellbeing of our residents.

You will have previous experience of managing team members.
