McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Care Supervisor for the Elderton Place estate in Whitley Bay. The role involves leading the Care and Support team to enable residents to live independently, coordinating activities, and ensuring safety.

We value warmth, organisation, and a proven care or support background. A Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is preferred, with L2 applicants encouraged to pursue L3. Permanent contract with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (Level 2 acceptable but must pursue Level 3).
• Experience managing team members.

Position Details

• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 33.5 hours per week, with a mixture of day and evening shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
• Pay: £15.24 per hour for day shifts, £12.24 for sleeping night shifts, plus an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.

About You

• You are warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and preferably a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. (Those with L2 are welcome to apply but will need toundertake their L3.)
• You are eager to take on responsibilities, promote community spirit, and improve the wellbeing of our residents.
• You will have previous experience of managing team members.
