Leisure People is seeking a Duty Manager for a busy Bristol swimming pool, taking ownership on shift, ensuring clean, safe operation and managing front of house, retail, and events. You will deliver a superb customer experience and actively upsell facilities and services.

Duty Manager- Swimming Pool leisure Centre - Bristol BS3

Up to £29,500 + benefits + development

We are looking for ambitious, energizing and customer centric Duty Manager to support the day-to-day running of one of the most popular swimming pools in Bristol. Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership for operating the busy centre on a shift basis.
• Ensure the centre is always clean, safe and in good working order.
• Support with the management of front of house, retail, scheduled swimming activities and events.
• Deliver a fantastic customer experience to every user.
• Upsell the facilities and services at every opportunity.

About you:

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or have the swimming capacity to complete it through the company)
• Operational management and key holder experience within similar high-volume sports, swimming, leisure, entertainment, children's activities or fitness business.
• Supervisory/people leadership experience possibly as a Team Leader, Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, Deputy Manager, Leisure Club Supervisor, or Senior Recreation Assistant.
• The flexibility to work a mixture of early shifts (6.30am-2.30pm), late shifts (2-10pm) and weekend shifts (7.30-2.30) working one in three weekends.
• Ownership mentality, can-do attitude, extremely customer focused.
• Have your own transport or live close to Bristol BS3.
