Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Duty Manager at Clarendon Sports Centre in Trowbridge to oversee day-to-day operations. The role is part-time on a rota system with a mix of evening and weekend shifts, supporting a dynamic leisure facility and community access to sports halls, gym, and squash facilities.

Expect robust leadership, a focus on customer service, and the ability to handle complex facility challenges. A First Aid at Work qualification will be supported within three months of appointment.

• Maintain a safe and well‑maintained environment across the centre during shifts.

Salary:£30,023 - £32,046 pro rata(Plus 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts)

Hours per week:20 hours

Temporary/Fixed term:18 months

As leisure provision in Trowbridge evolves, Clarendon Sports Centre (currently known as Trowbridge Sports Centre) will continue to play an important role in supporting local clubs, community groups and customers. Located next to Clarendon Academy, the centre offers sports hall, gym hall and squash court facilities and will remain a key part of the town's leisure offer.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team on a part-time basis. These positions are worked on a rota system and will involve a mixture of evening and weekend shifts to meet the needs of the business. Flexibility and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service are essential.
