Leonardo Hotel Middlesbrough is seeking a Duty Manager to lead day-to-day operations and inspire a vibrant team to deliver outstanding hospitality. You will greet guests, supervise staff across departments, and ensure service standards are met with warmth and professionalism.

The role emphasizes strong operational knowledge, recruitment support, and staff development within a branded hotel environment, ensuring memorable stays for guests in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in branded hotel or restaurant operations.
• Strong interpersonal and guest-service focus.
• Ability to coach and train new starters and manage conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Get out and about in the hotel, greeting guests and motivating the team to deliver great hospitality.
• Have strong operational knowledge with the ability to work across departments as required, with emphasis on Food & Beverage.
• Support other managers with interviews and recruitment - it’s a team effort.
• Coach and train new starters to build confidence in their roles.
• Collaborate with local HR to host engaging activities for the team.
