Leonardo Hotel Leeds is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily hotel operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will greet guests, supervise the team across departments, and drive brand standards while supporting recruitment and staff development.

The role suits a versatile hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced Branded hotel environment and enjoys staff training, wellbeing initiatives, and ongoing development opportunities within the Leonardo Hotels estate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct daily hotel operations to ensure memorable guest experiences.
• Greet guests on site and motivate the team to deliver outstanding hospitality.
• Collaborate with HR on interviews, recruitment and team activities.
• Support managers with recruitment and provide coaching to new starters.
• Manage guest complaints and resolve issues smoothly across departments.

As a Duty Manager, you’ll support the senior operational team to keep the hotel running like clockwork and ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. You’ll supervise the day-to-day hotel operations, ensure every stay is extra special and inspire a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations. We’re looking for someone with versatility, who is great at getting stuck in and thrives on the fast-paced nature of Hospitality! As a Duty Manager, you will: • Get out and about in the hotel, greeting guests and motivating the team to deliver great hospitality • Have strong operational knowledge with the ability to work across departments as required • Support other managers with interviews and recruitment- it’s a team effort • Coach and train new starters- we want everyone to feel confident in their new role! • Have excellent problem-solving skills with the confidence to manage conflicts or complaints seamlessly • Collaborate with your local HR team to host engaging activities for the team • Preferably have experience working in a branded hotel or restaurant?
