Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Duty Manager for the Red Lion. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the team, oversee daily operations, and ensure guests receive an exceptional hospitality experience. The role emphasizes training, development, and delivering memorable moments for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in hospitality or pub sector.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to deliver high service standards.
• Strong guest-focused approach with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day-to-day running of the pub.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver great food, drink and service.
• Be a role model and guide development within the team.
