McCarthy & Stone Ltd in Shrewsbury is recruiting a Care Supervisor on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. The role involves supporting a Care and Support team within the Stiperstones Court development, ensuring residents live independently with safe, quality care.

The position requires 33.5 hours weekly across day and evening shifts, with weekend work. Pay is £15.24/hour on day shifts and £12.24/hour on sleeping nights, plus £1 extra per hour from Friday midnight to Sunday midnight.

Formación

• Experience in a care or support environment.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification preferred; L2 accepted with L3 required.
• Experience in managing team members.

Role Highlights:
As a Care Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively and you will uphold our commitment to high-quality care. You will support the management of a thriving community of independent older adults, including overseeing the Care and Support team. About You

You are warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and preferably a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. (Those with L2 are welcome to apply but will need toundertake their L3.)

You are eager to take on responsibilities, promote community spirit, and improve the wellbeing of our residents.

You will have previous experience of managing team members.
