Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Giffnock is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the club and to drive excellent member experiences. You will oversee opening and closing shifts, lead a team, and focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

Your role includes engaging with members, guiding colleagues, and driving sales targets while maintaining health and safety standards. Lifeguard duties may be required, with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in a service environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a busy club setting.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club; including opening and closing the club when on shift.
• Prioritize member satisfaction, engage with members, and build strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide colleagues while upholding high quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting benefits of Nuffield Health.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets.
• Cover Lifeguard breaks and be willing to train on site.

Duty Manager – Fitness and Wellbeing Club Glasgow Giffnock FWC | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent | Part time Up to £28,037.00 pro rata depending on experience plus sales commission 24 hours per week
