Job summary

George & Dragon Mountnessing is seeking a Duty Manager to work alongside the General Manager to steer daily operations and lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will train and motivate staff to provide high-quality food, drink and service, while upholding brand standards. A role model for the team, you will help develop colleagues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in hospitality or pub settings.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to deliver great service.
• Comfort with handling guest needs and upselling or targets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver excellent food, drink and service.
• Act as a role model and guide development within the team.
• Ensure guests are cared for and feel welcome during their visit.
• Work to achieve business targets and maintain standards.
