Job summary

Fairfield House Hotel, part of the RAD Hotel Group, is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences on Ayrshire’s coast. You will lead front-of-house and restaurant teams while maintaining service standards across departments.

The role requires supervisory experience in quality hospitality, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to cover reception, dining, and events when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a high-quality hospitality establishment.
• Background in front of house and/or food and beverage.
• Excellent communications skills.
• A strong motivator with a positive attitude and customer focus.
• Hands-on approach to cover reception, restaurant and events when required.

Responsibilities

• Managing the team members whilst on duty to ensure they promote a helpful and professional image to all guests
• Effectively communicating across departments to ensure smooth service delivery within the hotel
• Acting as ‘host’ and figurehead to guests, members and staff
• Proactively addressing any concerns and resolving guest enquiries and complaints
• Being hands on by covering reception, restaurant and functions when required
