Job summary

Novotel London Bridge and Ibis Styles Southwark require a Dual Site Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across two hotels. You will manage reactive and proactive multi-skilled teams, oversee planned work, and drive efficiency and reliability of plant and hotel infrastructure.

You will develop and implement improvement plans, manage lifecycle budgets, and ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Job description

We are looking for Dual Site Maintenance Manager for Novotel London Bridge and Ibis Styles Southwark hotels.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the Maintenance function in a cluster of hotels providing both, a reactive and proactive multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and hotels’ infrastructure.
• Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
• Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, reduce equipment failure room downtime
• Manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
• Manage the teams on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst leading the department and mentoring direct reports
• Implement and manage continuous improvement of maintenance services by highlighting recommending changes where necessary.
• Ensure maintenance is completed in cluster hotels with effective use of resources
• Identification of potential lifecycle deficiencies, produce capital budgets to match lifecycle expectancies

Qualifications

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
• Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Experience performing routine maintenance.
• Strong organizational and follow up skills.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with site team, senior management, contractors and suppliers
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
