Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an experienced SENCO to work across two secondary schools in Hayes. This role leads SEND provision, coordinating assessment, EHCPs and individual plans while collaborating with staff, parents and external agencies to raise pupil outcomes.

The successful candidate will work across both sites, ensuring effective classroom strategies, safeguarding and continuous school improvement. Start ASAP with temporary/permanent scope.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision in secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision across two secondary schools in Hayes.
• Oversee identification, assessment and support of pupils with SEND.
• Develop and review EHCPs and individual provision plans.
• Collaborate with staff, parents/carers and external agencies.
• Monitor pupil progress and evaluate SEND interventions impact.
• Coordinate referrals with local authorities and other agencies.
