Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is expanding across the UK and seeks experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to install smart gas and electric meters in domestic properties. You will deliver excellent customer service and work safely to regulatory standards, while managing stock and workload to meet KPIs.

We offer a competitive package including £45,000 per annum, 33 days holiday, and a choice of day-rate options with umbrella PAYE or self-funding, plus a company van, fuel card, tools and uniform. No weekend work.

• Minimum 24 months’ Dual Fuel metering experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Basic IT literacy.

Pay & Package Options

• Salary Package
  • £45,000 per annum
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided
• Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 1
  • £200 per day
  • Paid via Umbrella PAYE
  • Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

  • £275 per day
  • Paid via Umbrella PAYE
  • Engineer provides own van & fuel
  • Tools & uniform provided
• CIS Option
  • £240 per day

Performance Bonus (Available on All Packages)

Earn more with our structured bonus scheme:

• Daily bonus paid after completing 6 points
• £50 per point from point 7 onwards
• 1 point per asset installed (2 points for dual installs)
• 0.5 point per comms/transactional job
• Example: Complete 4 dual installs in one day and earn an extra £100 bonus
