Job summary

Orion Smart Metering, part of Orion Electrotech, is seeking an experienced Dual Fuel Engineer to install smart gas and electric meters in domestic properties across the UK. You will deliver excellent customer service while working safely and to regulatory standards.

Salary options include £45,000 per year with 33 days holiday, plus a company van, fuel card, tools and uniform. Additional daily rates of £200 or £275 (Umbrella PAYE) and a CIS option are also offered with an achievable bonus scheme.

Pay & Package Options

Choose the option that works best for you:

Salary Package

• £45,000 per annum
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 1

• £200 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided

Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 2

• £275 per day
• Paid via Umbrella PAYE
• Engineer provides own van & fuel
• Tools & uniform provided

CIS Option

• £240 per day
• Engineer provides own van, fuel & tools
• Uniform provided

Performance Bonus (Available on All Packages)

Earn more with our structured bonus scheme:

• Daily bonus paid after completing 6 points
• £50 per point from point 7 onwards
• 1 point per asset installed (2 points for dual installs)
• 0.5 point per comms/transactional job

Example: Complete 4 dual installs in one day and earn an extra £100 bonus
