Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is expanding across the UK and seeking experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to join our growing team. You will install smart gas and electric meters in domestic properties and deliver exceptional customer service on every visit.

Typical packages include a £45,000 per annum salary, 33 days holiday, a company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided, and a structured bonus scheme. No weekend work is required.

• Minimum 24 months of Dual Fuel metering experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Install smart gas and electric meters in domestic properties.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every visit.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations.
• Manage your own stock and workload.

Pay & Package Options

• Salary Package
  • £45,000 per annum
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided
• Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 1
  • £200 per day
  • Paid via Umbrella PAYE
  • Company van, fuel card, tools & uniform provided
• Guaranteed Day Rate – Option 2
  • £275 per day
  • Paid via Umbrella PAYE
  • Engineer provides own van & fuel
  • Tools & uniform provided
• CIS Option
  • £240 per day
  • Engineer provides own van, fuel & tools

Performance Bonus (Available on All Packages)

Earn more with our structured bonus scheme:

• Daily bonus paid after completing 6 points
• £50 per point from point 7 onwards
• 1 point per asset installed (2 points for dual installs)
• 0.5 point per comms/transactional job
• Example: Complete 4 dual installs in one day and earn an extra £100 bonus
