Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to replace and install meters in customers' homes in the Guildford area. You will demonstrate how to use the new meter and provide ongoing maintenance after installation.

The role requires at least 6 months’ experience fitting dual fuel smart meters, driving licence, and familiarity with MET1, CCN1/CMA1/CMA3, and MOCOPA requirements. Salary bands are provided with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• MET1 required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 required.
• Full UK Driving licence is essential.
• Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c) knowledge is required.
• REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service with a full meter demonstration.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose Of The Role

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped
