Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters in Gloucester is seeking a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to replace gas and electricity meters in customers' homes and to provide a full demonstration of the new meter.

The role includes after-care and ongoing maintenance, with salary banding at £39,923–£41,571 per year and uncapped OTE (£48–£53k) for the DF engineer, plus bonuses and running expenses.

Qualifications

• MET1
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3
• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped
