Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters in the United Kingdom is seeking skilled Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers for a permanent role in Dumfries. You will exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes, delivering a full demonstration and after-care support.

You will also repair and maintain meters after installation, ensuring high service standards. Banding A/B roles offer £39,923–£41,571 per annum with OTE £48–£53K uncapped and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting dual fuel smart meters in customers' homes.
• UK driving licence is required.
• MET1 and CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 qualifications preferred.
• MOCOPA knowledge (1a and 1c).
• REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first-class after-care service with a full meter demonstration to customers.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus

• Single phase electric
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• REGT1 and polyphase electric (desirable not essential)
• Full UK Driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months experience in fitting dual fuel smart meters
• 3 phase or single-off multi is advantageous
