Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters, a Sureserve Group subsidiary, is hiring Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers in Exeter to replace gas and electricity meters in customers' homes and to provide after-care demonstrations and ongoing maintenance. This permanent role offers progression and training opportunities within a growing UK metering business.

The role requires MET1, CCN1/CMA1/CMA3, and MOCOPA qualifications, a UK driving licence, and prior dual-fuel meter fitting experience; a

Qualifications

• MET1 required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 required.
• Single phase electric knowledge required.
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c) required.
• REGT1 and polyphase electric knowledge desirable.
• Full UK Driving licence required.
• Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• 3 phase or single-off multi experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service including a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role

• To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Salary & Incentives

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

Banding B - 3 Phase / Medium Pressure - £ 41,571 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K – uncapped

Performance bonus

Weekly meter fit bonus scheme

£60 per month lunch expenses
