Job summary

Unique School Solutions is supporting a secondary school in Sheffield to appoint a Design Technology Technician. You will work in a busy school workshop, preparing materials and supporting teachers with lesson preparation.

Design Technology Technician

Sheffield, S10

£14.61 per hour

Start date: September 2026

Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only

Unique School Solutions are supporting a Secondary School in the S10 area of Sheffield to appoint a Design Technology Technician. You will be working in a busy school workshop environment preparing materials and supporting teachers with lesson preparation. You will need good knowledge of workshop health and safety and ideally previous school experience. The role is to start in September 2026 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.
