Job summary

Veritas Education is recruiting a Design & Technology Technician for a full-time, long-term role in Bradford. You will support the DT department by preparing materials, maintaining equipment and assisting with health and safety in the workshop.

The successful candidate will work across areas including Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics and Construction, helping staff and students run practical lessons smoothly. September 2026 start date is anticipated.

• Previous experience working within a DT department, workshop, engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Good practical skills and knowledge of tools and machinery.

About the Role

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a proactive and organised Design & Technology (DT) Technician for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and creative DT department, supporting staff and students across a range of specialist areas, including Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, and Construction.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring practical lessons run smoothly by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting health and safety procedures within the workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
