Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a part-time Design & Technology Technician for a well‑resourced secondary school in Weymouth. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term contract with potential to become permanent, dependent on experience.

  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Weymouth to recruit a part-time Design & Technology Technician to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical, organised individual who enjoys supporting hands‑on learning and helping students thrive in a creative workshop environment. Whether you have experience in education, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or a similar practical setting, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Design & Technology Technician, you will:

  • Prepare tools, materials and equipment for practical DT lessons.

  • Support teachers during practical lessons when required.
