Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a DT and Food Technology Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Sheldon, Birmingham. You will deliver engaging DT and Food Tech lessons, plan curriculum-aligned activities, and support students to develop practical skills and knowledge.

The role requires maintaining high standards, adapting for diverse learners, and fostering a positive classroom environment. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology and Food Technology.
• Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.

Flourish Education are recruiting for a DT and Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheldon, Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to teach Design Technology and Food Technology, supporting students to develop their practical skills, creativity and subject knowledge.

The successful DT and Food Technology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, helping students develop their understanding of design principles, practical techniques and food preparation. This DT and Food Technology Teacher role is available to start immediately and is full-time, Monday to Friday, making it an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a new position within a secondary school.

Job Role

Location

This DT and Food Technology Teacher position is based in Sheldon, Birmingham, and is easily commutable from Yardley, Acocks Green, Hall Green, Solihull, Small Heath, Stechford, Sparkhill and surrounding areas. The location is accessible for teachers travelling from across Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands.
