Job summary

Palletforce in Burton on Trent is seeking an experienced Class 1 driver for day shifts. You will perform daily HGV driving duties across the country, handle handheld terminals, and ensure paperwork is filed with the Transport Office.

Role requires weekend work and adherence to safety standards. Competitive salary with a weekly bonus and overtime, based at Burton on Trent site.

Job description

Class 1 Driver - Days

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics, and we are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team and help us transport goods across the country during the day.

THE SALARY

Yearly £35000 + £50 weekly bonus & Overtime

Location

This role will be based at our site in Burton on Trent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
• Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
• Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
• Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times
• Able to work weekends.
