Job summary

Palletforce Logistics is seeking a fully qualified Class 1 Driver for night shifts based in Erith. You will deliver goods safely, perform daily vehicle checks and maintain paperwork for the transport office. A CPC certificate, a valid Digital Tachograph card and a Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least six months experience are required.

We offer a competitive annual salary of £44,100 plus a £50 weekly drivers bonus, a solid benefits package and a supportive team culture at EV Cargo connections.

Class 1 Trunk Driver - Nights | Full time | Erith

Palletforce Logistics is a leading pallet distribution company dedicated to providing efficient and reliable services to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our supportive work environment.

THE ROLE

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce Logistics, and as a fully qualified Class 1 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

THE SALARY

£44100 per year plus a £50 weekly drivers bonus

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle;
• Driving Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly;
• Ensure you do your daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use;
• Ensure you inform the transport office of any problems in good time i.e. if you’re running late;
• Fit to drive; considering alcohol intake, daily rest, prescribed/over the counter medication that could affect your ability to drive;
• To ensure you arrive at your job on time;
• Maintain health and safety standards;
• Operating in a safe way, following all road rules;
• Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to the transport office;
• Delivering goods to various locations.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Valid Digital Tachograph card is essential;
• Completed CPC training course;
• Class 1 Driving License (C+E);
• Flexibility;
• Strong logistical and geographical knowledge;
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible with start & finish times;
• Fully completed driver CPC;
• HGV / LGV Class 1 licence with at least 6 months experience;
• Good work Ethic.
