Job summary

SIG Roofing is looking for a Van Driver to drive to customer sites delivering and collecting goods, with occasional yard work involved. You will help in the yard with receiving, unloading and storing stock, and prepare orders for loading.

A full driving licence and good data accuracy are essential; a forklift licence and health & safety knowledge are desirable. SIG offers a strong pension, annual salary reviews, and generous holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate loading and timely deliveries.

We are currently looking to recruit a Van Driver, to ensure that the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock is efficient and timely managed.

Please note this will mainly be a driving role which will include manual handling of deliveries and with occasional yard work,

What’s the role?

As a Driver, your main role will be Driving to different locations delivering & collecting. You will also be required to help in the yard, this involves receiving goods inwards, unloading and storing in the correct location, prepare orders according to sales requirements and load onto vehicles, sign for deliveries and receipt of stock and report breakages.

What you’ll bring:

• Full driving license
• Good data accuracy
• Numerate & Basic IT Skills
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Knowledge of basic health & safety requirements (desirable)
• Previous Yard or Warehouse experience (desirable)
