Job summary

SIG Roofing is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to support our UK branch network. You will deliver goods safely and on time, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain delivery records while representing SIG in a professional manner. The role includes potential van-driving and warehouse duties across multi-drop routes.

Applicants should hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph knowledge; Hiab/Moffett training is available. A strong safety focus and customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC card.
• Hiab and/or Moffett certification is desirable; SIG can provide training.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and on time to customers within your area.
• Secure loads and complete daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and delivery records.
• Represent SIG in a friendly, professional manner at all times.
• This role may include cover for van driving and warehouse duties.

We arecurrently looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver who will be at the heartbeat of our operations and act as a custodian of our great customer service.

HGV Class 2 Driver

What’s the role?

As an HGV Driver, you’ll play a safety-critical role in the daily operation of our branch. You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering goods safely and on time to customers in your area


• Securing all loads and completing daily vehicle checks


• Maintaining accurate transport documentation and delivery records


• Representing SIG in a friendly, professional manner at all times

What you’ll bring:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence


• Hiab and/or Moffett certification (desirable—SIG can provide training if needed)


• CPC card and Digital Tachograph


• Proven experience in multi-drop delivery


• A strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service


• This role will entail cover for Van Driving and Warehouse
