Job summary

SIG Roofing is recruiting a Van Driver to deliver and collect stock across the UK, and to assist in yard operations. The role involves loading, unloading, stock storage, and preparing orders for dispatch.

You must have a full driving licence, be numerate with basic IT skills, and be willing to work in a hands‑on environment with occasional yard work and safety responsibilities. The package includes good hours, holidays, and training opportunities.

• Basic IT skills.
• Forklift licence and knowledge of health & safety are desirable.
• Previous yard or warehouse experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive to various locations to deliver and collect stock.
• Assist in the yard: receive goods, unload and store items correctly.
• Prepare orders based on sales requirements and load onto vehicles.
• Sign for deliveries and receipts; report any breakages.

We are currently looking to recruit a Van Driver, to ensure that the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock is efficient and timely managed.

Please note this will mainly be a driving role which will include manual handling of deliveries and with occasional yard work,

What’s the role?

As a Driver, your main role will be Driving to different locations delivering & collecting. You will also be required to help in the yard, this involves receiving goods inwards, unloading and storing in the correct location, prepare orders according to sales requirements and load onto vehicles, sign for deliveries and receipt of stock and report breakages.

What you’ll bring:

• Full driving license
• Good data accuracy
• Numerate & Basic IT Skills
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Knowledge of basic health & safety requirements (desirable)
• Previous Yard or Warehouse experience (desirable)
