Job summary

SIG Roofing is looking for a Van Driver to drive to customer sites delivering and collecting goods, with occasional yard work involved. You will help in the yard with receiving, unloading and storing stock, and prepare orders for loading.

A full driving licence and good data accuracy are essential; a forklift licence and health & safety knowledge are desirable. SIG offers a strong pension, annual salary reviews, and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Good data accuracy.
• Numerate and basic IT skills.
• Forklift licence desirable.
• Knowledge of basic health & safety requirements desirable.
• Yard or warehouse experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive to different locations delivering and collecting goods.
• Help in the yard: receiving goods, unloading and storing stock.
• Prepare orders according to sales requirements and load onto vehicles.
• Sign for deliveries and receipt of stock; report breakages.
• Ensure accurate loading and timely deliveries.
