Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Doncaster is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Class 1 driver. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting demountable boxes across the network, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and performing routine vehicle checks.

The role operates with 48 hours per week and shift times from 16:00 to 20:00. Applicants should hold HGV Class 1 (C+E), Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card, with ideally 12 months experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Ideally 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pickup of demountable boxes to outbases within the network.
• Drive safely and in compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and vehicle regulations; complete vehicle checks.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivery and pick up of demountable boxes (wagon & drag) to outbases within the network
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience
• Previous experience with wagon & drag would be beneficial
