Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Goole is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role starts early with a 06:00 shift from our Goole base and runs Monday to Friday, delivering goods safely and on time.

We offer a strong benefits package, including a competitive pay rate of £39,140 with overtime after 45 hours. Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card; curtain-side experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E) and Driver CPC.
• Have a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Curtain side experience is desirable.
• Tramping experience desirable but not essential; 12 months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code at all times.
• Complete vehicle checks on a regular basis.
• Drive to collection and delivery points, open/close curtains, and secure loads.
• Nights out 4 nights a week.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Driving to collection and delivery points, opening and closing curtains, and safely securing loads.
• Nights out 4 nights a week.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
